How big is the Affiliate Industry and what’s the share of the pie?

Of the $12 billion affiliate marketing revenues, figures show that only $1billion is related to the Entertainment industry, whereas upwards of $1.5 billion is associated with Health and Wellness. Out of the total entertainment affiliate market, data indicates around 50% comes from live cams, 30% from dating, and 20% from content and other niches.

The live cam industry is currently bidding $8 Billion in revenue per year and is growing extremely fast. All live cam websites involved in this market are estimated to be visited daily by more than 5 % of the web’s global users. Predictions for 2020 say that the digital adult industry will see over 193 billion video views. Bearing in mind adult entertainment websites were responsible for just 4.41 % of all desktop visits in 2015, that leaves a considerable percentage of the digital market in other areas which are not related to adult.
